[CanExport Program] American Market is Gone. Get Funding For New Export Markets

I wanted to write you this week about the new SMART Green program as I attended its official launch on Tuesday, but the American voters made me to change the plans. They elected the gentleman who had promised to repeal NAFTA and other trade agreements with Canada. Which for us, Canadians, means that the U.S. market will likely be unavailable (or difficult to do business with) in the next 12 months or so. But, IT IS NOT TIME TO GIVE UP AND PANIC.

[SMART Green] Program Launched

SMimageART GREEN PROGRAM IS LIVE, BUT BE PATIENT! GIVE THE PROGRAM ANOTHER WEEK.

The applications for the new SMART Green Program are accepted as of yesterday, October 31st. Yes, this time they launched the program at Halloween so yesterday night I spent few hours studying new application process after trick-or-treating with kids. Good thing I had many candies so I stayed awake for a few hours after the midnight.

The main focus of the program is to help manufacturers buy production, hydro and HVAC equipment that will result in greenhouse gas emission reduction and productivity improvement at the same time. Get Started
