I have good news and bad news for you. Let’s start with the bad one. Yves Landry Foundation’s program budget depleted two months ahead of schedule. Although the program accepts applications, they are not reviewed until the program gets more funding. This may not happen until 2017, so you either have to go ahead with your training or wait for the program to be renewed.
The good news is that there are still great government funding programs such as Canada Job Grant that is a very good alternative to the Yves Landry Foundation’s program. So, if you have upcoming training needs, we will be happy to submit the application through this funding program.
Also, there is CanExport Program supporting export business development activities among many other government funding programs for different business needs. But they can run of funds any day as well. I guess, you now understand how important is to act immediately and take advantage of government funding.
