This week the Federally funded Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) interest-free loan started accepting applications. Key features and eligibility criteria:
- interest-free loans of up to $40,000.
- loan forgiveness of 25 percent (up to $10,000) if the balance is repaid by December 31, 2022.
- to qualify your total employment income paid in the 2019 calendar year must be between $50,000 and $1,000,000.

How to Apply? All major Canadian banks and credit union provide access to the program. To apply, log in to your business account with your primary financial institution or call your account manager for directions.
