Yes, many Canadian companies do get Government financing on a regular basis. Here are some recent examples of those who got Government contributions, including the client we worked with 🙂

Vaughan Aerospace Manufacturer, Dishon Limited, will receive a FedDev Ontario investment of up to $3 million to expand production at the Vaughan facility and create up to 60 new full-time equivalent jobs. This repayable contribution, through the Investing in Business Growth and Productivity initiative, will allow Dishon Limited to invest in state-of-the-art machinery to increase competitiveness, diversify its customer base and pursue growth opportunities in both current and new global markets. More here

Also, Ontario is partnering with Guelph Manufacturing to invest in new equipment and expand its capabilities. Guelph Manufacturing specializes in welding, metal stamping, and tube and wire forming for the automotive sector. With a grant of $874,800 from the province through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund, the company is investing more than $8.7 million to increase its manufacturing capabilities. This expansion will allow Guelph Manufacturing to offer larger parts, improve production efficiency to become more competitive, and develop in-house design engineering capabilities to better meet client needs. More here

Another one, Direct Coil Inc., a heat transfer product manufacturer in Millhaven Ont., is investing $2.6 million in new equipment and expanding its business with the help of Ontario government. The Eastern Ontario Development Fund is contributing an additional $268,600. Direct Coil designs and manufactures heating and cooling coils found in furnaces, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The investment in new equipment will increase Direct Coil’s production capabilities, reduce lead times to meet consumer demands and create 20 new jobs. More here

How did these companies get Government financing? Usually it happens this way: they learn about government funding programs, choose appropriate ones for their projects, check eligibility and prepare application packages.

Make your way to government funding by simply contacting us and we’ll guide you on that way.
