I have just returned from the presentation of advanced 3D technologies and tools (3D scanners and 3D printers) organized by one of the vendors.The presenters talked about multiple industrial applications, demonstrated technologies in action and addressed audience’s questions.
One of those questions was about the price of 3D Printers and 3D Scanners. Obviously they vary depending on the tool and the application, but they are not cheap.
There is good news for those who are interested in buying them.
Business in Southern Ontario can access government funding to offset up to 50% of the cost of 3D Printers or 3D Scanners. There are certain qualification criteria you must meet in order to take advantage of the funding.
