Did you know? Cheaper, better robots are expected cut labour costs at Canadian factories by 24 per cent over the next decade as more companies replace human workers at a faster pace, according to the article “Rise of the machines” published in Canadian business on Feb 10, 2015. 

As it says, robots are getting cheaper. The cost of owning and operating a robotic spot welder, for instance, has tumbled from $182,000 in 2005 to $133,000 last year, and will drop to $103,000 by 2025. Read a full article here
