We are excited to inform you that the Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) program will open for applications on January 16, 2025. The grant provides support for advanced manufacturing projects aimed at capital equipment, technology adoption, and skills development.
Eligibility Requirements
- Have at least three years of operations/financial statements.
- Employ at least 10 people.
- Commit to creating at least five new jobs and/or upskilled current jobs.
- Be located in, or plan to locate in, a community in Ontario.
Funding Amount: Up to 15% of eligible project costs.
Intake Opens on January 16, 2025.
We also would like to remind you that the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) and Eastern Ontario Development Fund (EODF) programs continue to accept applications, with a deadline of January 28, 2025.
The programs offer funding for large-scale expansion projects that promote job creation and regional economic development. Both programs offer to cover up to 15% of eligible project expenses in partially forgivable interest-free loans or grants under some conditions.
