Today I decided to share with you some news about recent Government contributions made to several Canadian companies. Hopefully those examples will inspire you to apply for multiple Government financing programs that are available right now. 

FedDev Ontario invested in Ontario’s auto sectorOntario auto-parts manufacturer ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks Americas Ltd. (AMTB) recently got an investment of up to $12.73 million to adopt advanced manufacturing technologies.The Government of Canada, through FedDev Ontario’s Advanced Manufacturing Fund (AMF), supported AMTB’s adoption of robotic laser-welding to produce lighter and stronger auto-parts. Also, FedDev Ontario invested in Brantford manufacturer.The repayable contribution of $2.3 million, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) Investing in Business Growth and Productivity initiative, will assist Ontario-based custom steel products manufacturer Cambridge Pro Fab Inc. to purchase and implement automated equipment to increase production capabilities and expand its presence in the American natural gas and coal retrofit markets.
