If you follow government funding closely, you know that sometimes deadlines come out of nowhere. Unfortunately, this time, FedDev Ontario decided to pause application intakes for the Regional Tariff Response and Defence Investment Initiatives in Southern Ontario.
The message came without warning, and as of last week, both programs have been accepting applications continuously. The deadline now is April 17, 4 p.m. EST. The programs are not permanently closed. The intake is being paused to handle the volume of applications received to date.
Lesson learned? Never delay a government funding application if your business qualifies.

Given the short notice, we are unable to take on additional Tariff Response or Defence Investment projects, but we are happy to talk with you to explore alternative government funding options for your business.
