The program supports Canadian businesses expanding into new international markets by reimbursing up to 50% of eligible export marketing expenses, to a maximum of $50 K.
Eligible activities
Funding may support:
• Trade shows and trade missions
• Digital and online advertising
• Translation of marketing materials
• Shipping product samples
• Export market research and business planning
Eligibility requirements
To qualify, your business must:
• Be a for-profit incorporated company or LLP
• Have a CRA business number
• Employ between 3 and 499 employees
• Generate at least $300 K in annual revenue in Canada
Most sectors are eligible except agriculture, food, and beverages.
If your business is planning to enter new international markets or invest in export marketing activities, this program can help offset a significant portion of your costs.
