The Digitalization Competence Centre (DCC) programs – Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP) and Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) – have been officially renewed.

DMAP is now accepting applications. TDP will start accepting applications within the next few months.

These Ontario programs support SMEs investing in digital modernization, software implementation, automation, and technology adoption. 

1) Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP)

The DMAP program helps Ontario businesses assess their digital needs and develop a customized technology adoption strategy with support from an approved consultant.

Eligible companies may receive:

  • Up to 50% of the eligible project costs
  • Maximum funding of $15 K

Funding supports the development of a Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan, helping businesses better understand and plan future technology investments.

2) Technology Demonstration Program (DCC Demo)

Companies that have completed a DMAP project may become eligible for additional implementation funding through the Technology Demonstration Program.

Eligible businesses may receive:

• Up to 50% of eligible project costs
• Maximum funding of $50 K

The program supports projects related to digital technology adoption, software and system upgrades, automation, cybersecurity, and implementation costs.

Eligibility requirements

To qualify for both programs, businesses must:

• Be an incorporated, for-profit company
• Have between 1 and 499 employees
• Operate from a permanent establishment in Ontario
• Demonstrate the ability to implement and sustain new technologies

Additional eligibility requirements apply for the Technology Demonstration Program, including completion of a DMAP project and minimum revenue thresholds.
