Eligibility requirements
To qualify, your business must:
- Be a for-profit company registered in Canada
- Have 1 to 500 full-time employees
- Plan to expand into a market where less than 10% of revenue currently comes from.

Eligible activities & funding
The CanExport SME program reimburses 50% of selected export marketing costs to a maximum of $50 K to help Canadian companies enter new international markets by covering a portion of their export marketing costs, including:
- Market research & competitive analysis
- Digital advertising & SEO for foreign markets
- Trade show participation & B2B meetings
- IP protection and regulatory compliance
