We’re happy to inform you that the CanExport SME Grant application deadline has officially been extended. Applications are now being accepted until August 31, 2026.
The CanExport program helps Canadian businesses expand into new international markets by covering up to 50% of eligible export marketing expenses, with funding of up to $50 K per project.
Eligible activities
• Trade shows and trade missions
• Digital and online advertising
• Translation of marketing materials
• Shipping product samples
• Export market research and business planning
Eligibility requirements
• Be a for-profit incorporated company or LLP
• Have a CRA business number
• Employ between 3 and 499 employees
• Generate at least $300K in annual revenue in Canada
Most sectors are eligible except agriculture, food, and beverages.
The program supports businesses entering new export markets where they have limited or no recent sales activity.
If your organization is planning to expand internationally, attend trade shows, launch export marketing campaigns, or explore new markets, this extension provides additional time to prepare your application.
