Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) Tax Credit.  SR&ED is a tax incentive program that encourages Canadian businesses to participate in research and/or experimental development.

Customs Duty Drawback. If you pay duties on source materials or components that you later export in the original or modified form, you may qualify for a refund of customs duties paid at the time of import.

Factoring. This type of financing helps you free up capital that is stuck in unpaid debts and transfers the default risk associated with the collection to a factoring company.

Capital Lease. A capital lease is a contract entitling a renter to a temporary use of an asset (such as equipment). The capital lease requires a renter to add assets and liabilities associated with the lease if the rental contract meets specific requirements.

Asset-Based Lending. Asset-based lending is a business loan secured by collateral (assets). The loan, or line of credit, is secured by inventory, accounts receivable and/or other balance-sheet assets.
