Successful Toronto-based grant-writing firm expands East.

Toronto-based Fair Grant Writing has 16 writers, editors, project coordinators and managers. Now they have a presence in Nova Scotia.

“Some of the country’s best ideas are coming out of the Maritimes,” says Igor Chigrin, Fair Grant’s founder and author of Get Funded! “Being able to bring them to life through access to government funding is special for us.”

Fair Grant Writing puts proposals together for unlocking access to government grants & loans. Since 2009, Igor and his team have helped companies overcome skill shortages, improve capacity, access new markets, develop new products and more.

The Nova Scotia operation is being run out of Dartmouth by Jesslyn Dalton. Previously, Jesslyn worked for Service Canada and the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education where she helped grant recipients to deliver against the promises they made in their pitches.
